sdiMCS
coordinates the movement between all Automated Material Handling
Systems (AMHS) in the factory (stockers, overhead loops, AGV...)
to provide optimized material flow management.
sdiMCS is independent of AMHS hardware and integrates with different types and makes of AMHS. It was first released in 1991 and has been successful in both inter-bay and intra-bay production 24x7 environments.
With sdiMCS, the user is shielded from the
complexity of individual AMHS interfaces through a common user
interface for all types of AMHS equipment regardless of model
or make. For example, moving, re-routing a lot or keeping
track of material movement can be achieved through a simple point
and click.
