Leading Asia Backend Fab orders sdiSMS site license.

Vancouver, Washington, March 16th, 2001- A leading Asia backend fab has ordered a site license of sdiSMS after successful initial deployment of a sdiSMS based factory automation system.

The order involves several hundred runtime licenses to be deployed fab-wide.

sdiSMS provides SEMI SECS-II and General Utility Libraries and simplified methods for SECS communication. sdiSMS also provides simultaneous support for SECS-I and HSMS communications using either RS-232 or TCP/IP. Users can quickly develop a factory host or embedded equipment SECS interface using either Visual Basic or Visual C++.
