Vancouver, Washington, February 3rd, 1999 – A leading Japanese semiconductor manufacturer has selected sdiStation Equipment Developer to implement and maintain the embedded SECS/GEM drivers for all of its semiconductor equipment models. sdiStation Equipment Developer was selected over several other SECS/GEM products due to its Windows NTTM native implementation and ActiveX/COM based open connectivity. After using sdiStation for several months on one equipment model, the Japanese customer was impressed by the product’s ease of use and the rich set of features provided by the development environment.
